The History of Gwynn Tire Service

For the last years, Gwynn Tire Service has been performing quality auto repairs and stocking a competitively priced selection of tires. Since our humble beginnings, we have grown to acquire a loyal base of returning customers. We have done this through quality workmanship and friendly service. We look forward to building equally rewarding relationships with new customers.

Lawrence Gwynn and Ray Rex founded Gwynn's Tire Pros in 1938. Darrell “Red” DeVault bought the business in 1961 and it has remained in the DeVault family ever since. Charles DeVault, Darrell’s son, and Mike DeVault took over in 1984. In 2000, Mike and Charles started American Fence. They share ownership of both American Fence and Gwynn's Tire Pros. In 2007, Tyler DeVault, Charles’ son, assumed management of Gwynn's Tire Pros.
